don't get too used to me posting twice in a week or more than twice in 1 month.... lol
I just wanted to share some exciting news.
No, I'm not pregnant - I wouldn't use a blog to announce that... just for the record. We're finally going on our honeymoon. Isaac has 2 weeks off from June 28 to July 13. Last night, we booked some tickets (a great deal... best we've seen since Jan. when we first started looking) to fly to London from June 29 - July 9. The tentative plan is to head straight for Edinburgh, Scotland where we plan to book a resort through the military (awesome deal as well). We'll stay there til July 4 (yeah, we're spending both Canada Day and Independance Day in Scotland. One of these days, I'll get to see a 4th of July fireworks show). Then Night of the 4th through the morning of the 6th we'll be in Penzance, England (way in the SouthWest tip of England where I visited on my spring Break while in Britain for the semester). Night of the 7 through til morning of the 9th, we'll be in London. From the July 9th til 13th, we'll just relax and do stuff around here I think.
I am SOO excited... you have no idea. Well, maybe you do. I think you all know how much I love my semester in Britain and how much I wished Isaac could've come to visit me there. Ahh! I can't believe we're actually going. Ever since Oct. or Nov. I've been telling myself not to get my hopes up because it probably wasn't going to work out. But, Since we've got the tickets now and the planning has officially begun, I think I can let my self get excited about it. Just wait til you get me on that plane though.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know... I absolutely had to tell someone!
Off I go to finish putting the laundry away. I have to work this afternoon, but since I've got something big to look forward to, I won't mind going to work so much. Anyway, Love you All!

just a plain old quick update - no embellishments, just truth
Wow, quite a title... I don't know if I can live up to it but here goes:
Job Update:
Lead sales floral - definitely 10 times less stressfull than the Front end supervisor position... and I get paid more. (I don't know how much more yet)
I'm happier and less stressed at the end of the day. I no longer have nightmares about work.
Isaac Update:
He's in the home stretch. only a few weeks left of class. This week he did some really random things like going to the Air Force base to experience the altitude chamber - what a unpressurized plane would be like at 30,000+ ft. He did a dive chamber experience where the show you how hard it is to breathe at certain depths with a very long snorkel, as well as, what happens to your dexterity after being in frigid water for mere seconds. Fun stuff like that. And also, an excercise course (didn't here much about that one), and a litter run - a group of 4 students carries a 5th on a military litter (look it up) through an obstacle course with simulated gas attacks occuring throughout.
Sounds like a little taste of boot camp...
This weekend, Isaac is going camping in Harper's Ferry with friends (Brian and Ali - both of whom attended our wedding- as well as Ben, who did not) They'll be back sometime Sunday evening. I'm having a Mary weekend in since I have this weekend off. I want to see Prince Caspian. I may have to convince some of my siblings-in-law to go out on a fun date with their favourite (and only) sister-in-law. Tomorrow perhaps?
Anyway, I'm having me a bowl-o-ice cream for supper. nutritious no? That's what happens when my husband goes out of town. Shh... don't tell him.
Love you all and thank you for loving me and praying for me.
Love,
~ Mary

My life -
Keeping busy is not difficult to do as you all know. Lately, I've been spending my free time working on 3 cross-stitch projects (paid projects) for a lady who came shopping at Michaels. I had no idea that cross stitching really takes so long.
On Monday, I'm beginning a new position at work. Lead sales of floral. Basically, I told my manager that I'm getting frusterated working as the FES because all the unhappy custo mers yell at me for things I have zero control over. It gets to you eventually even though you try your best not to let it. I believe there is a pay raise involved as well. The downside... when there's a truck, it's be at work at 5am. yuck. Oh well... I am still looking for another job. I had a promising one lined up as a book binder. The owners of the company really wanted to hire me, but don't currently have a position open. They even tried making up a new position, but couldn't quite make it work in the budget yet. They said maybe in a few months. I'll keep you all updated of course.
